Treasure Hunt Proposal

Objectives:

* To raise funds for the charity wing to support the 5 children we have adopted in the orphanage. These funds being needed for grocery shopping, purchasing of school books and attire and group outings.

* An opportunity for students to interact and practice team work.

Details:

Date : 28/11/06
Start time : 4.30pm
End time: 7.30pm
Entry fee : RM2 per person
Venue : Wisma Help

Who can play?

Everyone!

* Posters will be put up to advertise the event.
* Enrollment forms will be made available on the 7th floor of Wisma Help.
* Class announcements will be made to law students by their class representatives.

How to play?

i. Students will be divided into groups of 4
ii. Each group will be provided with a sheet of paper containing 20 cryptic clues at 8am (28/11) of which the answers to be submitted by 12noon (29/11).
iii. Late submissions of answers will not be accepted.
iv. Those with the most correct answers will win a prize (gift vouchers). 3 groups will be eligible to win 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Who will manage the event?

Ms Trishelea and Ms Su Enn will be the chief organizers of this event.
They will be in charge of the preparation of clues and posters for advertising purposes.
The rest of the executive members of the charity wing will help in the checking of answers submitted by the groups.
A notice containing the names of the winners of the treasure hunt will be put up on the 30/11/06 on the 7th floor, Wisma Help.

Budget (tentative) :

Initial Cost : -
(will be getting sponsors to give clothing vouchers. If unable to get, cost at RM50)
Expected profit :
200 students x RM2 = RM400
